Is Peel Village Golf Course a private or public course?Peel Village Golf Course is a public 9 hole golf course operated by the City of Brampton.Are advance bookings accepted? If yes, what is the process?Bookings can be made up to seven days in advance by online or calling 905-874-2995.Is everyone required to bring their own equipment?No, golf clubs are available for rent at the pro shop.Can I reserve power carts online?Power carts are currently not available for online reservation. Power carts are available to rent in-person on a first-come, first-serve basis on site at Peel Village Golf Course. What are the hours of operation?Hours of operation vary depending on the time of year, day light and weather conditions. Please consider contacting the golf course directly at 905-874-2995 or online at www.brampton.ca/peelvillage.Is there a dress code in effect?Yes, acceptable golf attire includes: hemmed or cuffed shorts/ long pants, golf shirt/jacket and golf shoes/running shoes. The course DOES NOT allow jeans, track pants, gym shorts, tank tops, sandals or flip flops.Does Peel Village Golf Course issue rain checks?Rain checks are issued to golfers in the event of an unforeseen thunderstorm if less than two holes have been played or less than 30 minutes has passed since the green fee ticket was issued. Please note that rain checks are not issued if the golfers begin play while it is raining. What type of food or refreshment is available?Food and beverages are available for purchase in the clubhouse. Patio is open daily to enjoy food and beverages. The beverage cart is available at the 4th hole weather permitting.Please be advised that no outside alcohol is permitted. What is the anticipated opening date? The anticipated opening date is usually on April 12 (weather permitting). The end of season date is flexible, based upon weather and course conditions. Many years, the public have enjoyed playing the course into mid-October.
