Child Care Subsidy

Child Care Subsidy is a program offered by the Region of Peel that helps qualifying families cover the cost of licensed child care for children 6 to 12 years of age.

If you have qualified for Child Care Subsidy (and have received the acknowledgement letter from the Region of Peel), and are ready to register, please see the steps below:

Step 1: Choose your City of Brampton Camp

The following three camps are available:

  • Camp Summer Fun
  • Camp Eldorado
  • Camp IT Factor

Step 2: Registration

Please complete the registration form​, inclusive of the Personal Information Record (PIR) form. Once complete, please email both forms to ROPchildcare@brampton.ca.

Please ensure that you provide the acknowledgement letter that you received from the Region of Peel that indicates eligibility of children registering in camp.

Step 3: Registration Confirmation

Once the City of Brampton receives the registration form, Personal Information Record, and the acknowledgement letter, we will contact you to confirm registration and also provide you with the balance remaining to be paid. Payments can be received by calling 311, or through our online registration system​. Once the balance is paid, the registration is complete and your spot is reserved.
