The City of Brampton’s Age Friendly Strategy outlines an action plan to ensure residents have the services and supports they need to stay healthy, age safely and enjoy a high quality of life.
According to Statistics Canada, in 2021, Brampton's population comprised of 12.5% seniors aged 65 and over. In comparison, for Canada, the population of seniors was 19% in 2021.
