Following an extensive city-wide engagement, the first-ever Mayor’s budget was adopted on December 13.

Brampton’s 2024 Budget supports the needs of a growing population while making record contributions to reserves and priority investments in infrastructure, transportation, recreational amenities, health care, and community safety.

About the Budget Process

The City’s annual budget process​ engages, educates, and informs the citizens of Brampton through communications and engagement efforts, including telephone town halls, coffee chats, advertisements, news releases, social media, and the City’s budget website.​

Time: 6:45 – 8:15 pm

Hosted by: Mayor Patrick Brown, Chair of Budget Committee; Regional Councillor Paul Vicente, Vice Chair of Budget Committee. Treasurer, Nash Damer, and other City staff will be in attendance.

Format: The City will call around 100,000 randomly chosen phone numbers. Following introductory remarks, the floor will be opened to questions, taken live on the call.
