BRAMPTON, ON –
The Downtown Revitalization division is conducting a comprehensive review and update of the Downtown Secondary Plan. This forward-thinking, responsive policy framework will help unlock the potential for a renewed and vibrant downtown.
The review will support the development of a new Secondary Plan aligning key initiatives and confirming the downtown vision, ensuring shared goals for its future. It will refine the planning and approval process, integrating Major Transit Station Areas (MTSA) priorities and recent legislative changes for planning from the provincial government. The plan will also incorporate transformative transportation options, critical infrastructure upgrades, landmark redevelopments and enhanced public spaces, reflecting Brampton's diverse communities while shaping the future of the downtown.
