BRAMPTON, ON – The Civic Holiday takes place on Monday, August 7.
All essential and critical services, including Fire and Emergency Services, Traffic Services, By-Law Enforcement, Road Operations, and Security Services will continue to operate as usual to support the community.

Brampton Transit
Brampton Transit will be operating on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on the Civic Holiday. Customer Service counters at the terminals will be closed. The Contact Centre will be available to assist from 7 am to 9 pm at 905.874.2999. Brampton Transit Clark and Sandalwood Facilities, including Lost and Found, will be closed.

Brampton Parks

Brampton Recreation
Select City of Brampton Recreation Centres are open for limited drop-in programs and services during the Civic Holiday. Holiday hours can be viewed here.

Brampton Animal Services
The Brampton Animal Shelter will be closed on the Civic Holiday. Animal Control will be on the road from 8 am to 6:30 pm and will continue to respond to emergency calls outside of these hours.
