The City of Brampton has launched a refresh of its public dashboard: CityDashboard. Built on the City’s award winning open data platform, GeoHUB, CityDashboard is an online tool that helps the community see how the City’s daily operations contribute to community outcomes.
Originally launched in 2018, CityDashboard provides insight into six key areas:
- City Finances
- City Services
- Livability
- Community Well-Being
- Economy
- Urban Form and Environment
The updated CityDashboard provides residents with a snapshot of City services, financial measures and community indictors. Along with a status and graph, each measure features a story that talks about why it matters, how it gets measured, and the progress the City is making. Related links provide more context on what the City is doing to influence measures, day-to-day services, programs, maps, plans and studies.
Brampton is a Well-Run City committed to openness, transparency and data-driven decision making. Measuring municipal service performance and community indicators will help the City continue to drive innovation, influence continuous improvement, and build an inclusive community that is safe, sustainable and successful.
The updated CityDashboard can be found at www.brampton.ca/dashboard. Residents are encouraged to share comments or ideas via the “dashboard feedback” button located within the dashboard.
