BRAMPTON, ON (March 12, 2020) – Families are invited to try new activities, connect with sports groups and learn about sports in our community at the City’s third annual Sports Day in Brampton on Saturday, April 4, 2020, from 10 am to 4 pm, presented by the City of Brampton and the Brampton Sport Alliance.
A range of local minor sports organizations will take over the Brampton Soccer Centre (495 Sandalwood Parkway East) and Cassie Campbell Community Centre (1050 Sandalwood Parkway West) for the day. Residents and visitors can learn about these groups and the wide variety of activities they offer across Brampton.
Free drop-in activities will be available throughout the day for children and youth to try, including gymnastics, softball, baseball, lacrosse, cricket, soccer, track, wheelchair basketball, hockey, swimming and more.
To encourage active participation, attendees will receive a passport and have the opportunity to enter a draw and win a prize when they collect three stamps at the event – one for each sport they try that day.
