BRAMPTON, ON (August 20, 2024) – The City of Brampton is pleased to announce that Paul Vicente, Regional Councillor for Wards 1 & 5, has been re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO). This marks Councillor Vicente's continued commitment to representing the interests of municipalities across Ontario, particularly within the Regional and Single Tier Caucus.

The election took place during the 2024 AMO Annual General Meeting and Conference in Ottawa. The conference, themed “Resilient Communities: Building a Stronger Future,” focused on addressing the key challenges faced by municipalities in Ontario and exploring innovative solutions to foster sustainable growth and resilience.
