Quotes

“Winter Lights is such a special event in our community. I invite all residents to come out and experience the magic of the holidays at the Official Tree Lighting at Ken Whillans Square on Friday evening. There is so much to do throughout the weekend including the Market on Main and Santa Claus parade. Don’t forget to bring an unwrapped toy for free admission to the festivities!”
- Patrick Brown, Mayor, City of Brampton

“Winter Lights is one of my favourite events of the year in Brampton. Watching the tree come to life during the Official Tree Lighting ceremony, and the magic that it creates is so beautiful. I encourage residents to get a head start on their holiday shopping and check out the Market on Main, and to come out Saturday as we welcome Santa Claus to Brampton as he stops by before heading back to the North Pole!”
- Rowena Santos, Regional Councillor, Wards 1 & 5; Chair, Community Services, City of Brampton
