Brampton’s competitive advantage comes from its unique position within Canada’s Innovation Corridor and a talented workforce. Brampton is attracting businesses to its Innovation District and seeks a strong partner in the provincial government to make the necessary investments and policy changes to support a robust economy and healthy community.

Through successful advocacy, Brampton secured commitments for a second full-service hospital and a new Cancer Care Centre at Brampton Civic Hospital from the Province of Ontario. During this year’s conference, Brampton’s delegation will emphasize the urgency of getting shovels in the ground on these vital projects.

Brampton continues to call for more investment in critical infrastructure to support more housing choices, improve regional connectivity in public transit and help build the essential phase two Light Rail Transit (LRT) extension along Main Street from Steeles Avenue to the Brampton Innovation GO Station.
