BRAMPTON, ON (March 9, 2023) – The City of Brampton yesterday launched its Municipal Brampton Housing Pledge outlining the City’s commitment to the province’s goal of achieving 1.5 million new housing units by 2031, with the specific municipal target of 113,000 new homes.
This pledge demonstrates the City’s commitment to unlocking more housing, streamlined development approvals, removal of barriers, and accelerated planning in support of the province’s housing target. Brampton’s Housing Pledge provides information on the many ongoing and planned City initiatives supporting growth and accelerating new housing supply in Brampton.
