Tanya Mullings is a multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, Brampton Walk of Fame inductee, six-time Juno Award nominee, and a pioneer of Reggae music in Canada. With over three decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Tanya has worked as a performer, artist manager, promoter, public relations professional, and community radio host on CHRY 105.5FM (now VIBE105).

In 2010, Tanya began hosting her own radio show, The Tanya Mullings Show, on Atlanta's internet radio station, DaFlavaradio.com. That same year, the show was simulcast on internet stations across the UK, New York, The Gambia, Africa, Boston, Worcester, Massachusetts, Antigua, Florida, and Canada's Fired Up Network's 122 platforms, marking a worldwide first for a music show on a sports station.

In May 2020, Tanya joined the Barnburner TV Network/H.E.R. Network/Fired Up Network for her very own TV Show The Tanya Mullings​ Show. In 2021 she joined Toronto's commercial radio station G987FM - The Way We Groove/Where Great Music Lives/Flow987 Toronto Hip Hop and R&B to hostThe Tanya Mullings Show & The Midday Flow.

Tanya started her musical career at the age of 15, guided by her late father, manager/producer/promoter Karl Mullings. Releasing four albums and multiple singles, she has worked with some of the industry's best, including the late great Alton Ellis, who voiced on her first single. She was also taught by some of the greats including the late Jackie Mittoo, Jay Douglas, John Holt, Ken Booth, Cynthia Schloss, and Hopeton Lewis.

Throughout her career, Tanya has worked with acclaimed producers like Bobby Digital Dixon, Jack Scorpio, Danny Browne, Dalton Browne, Eddie Bullen, Computer Paul Henton, Dubmatix, Morgan Heritage, Stephen "Di Genius" McGregor, Fab 5, Bernie Pitters, Robert "Dubwise" Browne, Devonte, Bobby Treasure, Paul Green, Andrew Thomas, Maurice Gregory, and Dean Pond. Tanya has also collaborated with artists like Papa San, General Degree, Morgan Heritage, Tanto Metro, Craigy T of T.O.K, and Mega Banton.

Tanya has been nominated six times for the prestigious Juno Awards and was presented with the Citizens Award for the Arts by the City of Brampton. In 2015, she was inducted into The Brampton Arts Walk Fame and has continued to work as an ambassador for that program. In 2024, she was honoured as one of the 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Woman. Her Juno-nominated singles "A Love Thang" and "Love & Affection" were featured in Trey Anthony's TV pilot, Kink In My Hair, starring Sheryl Lee Ralph and directed by Tonya Williams.

Tanya has won various music industry awards, including the 2023 Media Award at the International Women Achievers Awards, Top Single for "Rescue Me" at the Community Appreciation Awards, the Karl Mullings Memorial Award, Top Veteran Singer at the Community Appreciation Awards, Top International Reggae Artist at the Community Appreciation Awards, the International Reggae and World Music Award, 14 Canadian Reggae Music Awards, seven Caribbean Crucible Awards, two Reggae Music Achievement Awards, and for her last album, Music is My Life, she was awarded Best Reggae Album, Producer of the Year, and Best Female Vocalist from the Canadian Reggae Music Awards.

Tanya has performed around the world and shared the stage with many talented artists. On March 2nd, 2019, Tanya performed at the inaugural "Titans of Reggae Day" in Toronto. She has also performed at Reggae Sunsplash in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Reggae Sumfest at Chakka Cove in St. Ann's, Jamaica, Montreal International Reggae Festival, Calgary International Reggae Festival in Canada, Irie Jamboree at Roy Wilkins Park, Queens, New York, Brixton Academy in London, England (a tribute to the late great Jackie Mittoo), Madison Square Garden in New York City, and Hard Rock Live in Orlando, FL.
