​Exco Levi is the first recipient in the Reggae Recording of the Year Category to receive a JUNO Award for 4 consecutive years for “Bleaching Shop” (2012), “Storms of Life” (2013), “Strive” (2014) and “Welcome the King” (2015). He received his 5th consecutive JUNO nomination for Best Reggae Recording 2016 for his single “Hello Mama”. Born in Manchester, Jamaica, Levi came to Toronto in 2005. His first release in Canada “Oh Canada” in 2007, placed him in view of the Canadian music industry. He toured Europe twice, played California’s Reggae On the River, Spain’s Rototom and Canada’s major reggae festivals, including JAMBANA™ One World Festival. April 2014 saw the release of his EP “Words of the Wise” and he released his first album “Country Man” in 2015 on his High Priest Label. Exco Levi has performed on the continent of Africa, a first time for a Canadian reggae artist on stage in Zimbabwe, in Salima, Malawi, in Humboldt County California, in Helsinki Finland, at the Norway Lydbolger festival and in British Columbia in Vancouver, Nanaimo, Victoria, Cumberland and Duncan. He was handpicked by VP Records for the single “Rasta Children”, which was recorded in Kingston Jamaica in December 2015 and was selected to drop a single on Penthouse Records’ 2016 Retro Reggae Album. Canada’s King of Reggae headlined Tribute to the Legends, The Black History Month Reggae Jam. Exco Levi’s track “One Suit” will be featured in the Television Series Private Eyes and “Welcome the King” was featured in the film Chameleon.​
