Project Description

The City of Brampton invites artists to activate, revitalize, and transform community spaces through the My Neighbourhood Art Project. We are seeking artists with a passion for community engagement and public art to join our roster. Selected artists will have the opportunity to shape public spaces and community identity through collaborative public art projects.

Key Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in public art.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitation or co-creation.

Opportunities and Compensation:

  • Artists may be selected for projects on a case-by-case basis, ensuring the right fit for each unique community initiative.
  • Lead artists are compensated up to $7,500, and assistant artists up to $2,500, for a commitment spanning the summer and early fall.
  • While inclusion on the roster does not guarantee immediat​​​e participation in this year's projects, it opens opportunities for involvement in the 2025 iteration of the My Neighbourhood Art Project, with planning beginning in early 2025.
