The 2025 Brampton Farmers' Market is now accepting applications for interested farmers, prepared food vendors, artisans and/or artists looking to participate in the upcoming season.

8:00am - 1:00pm
Downtown Brampton
Minimum Eligbility to Apply for the Brampton Farmers' Market:
- Be able to attend all 18 weeks (unless selected as rotating artist or community activation)
- Self-sufficient setup including tents, tables, chairs and power
- Have insurance coverage OR willing to purchase Farmers' Market Ontario Insurance Coverage ($45)
Vendor Categories:
Farmer - a Farmer is a person or farm company who grows or produces and sells their own farm products (fruit, vegetables, meat, poultry, dairy, fish, grains & seeds, honey, maple products, plants/flowers and wool). A minimum of 75% of the products sold must be homegrown. Prepared foods made from farm produce are allowed for sale but must meet all Public Health requirements as laid out for Prepared Food Vendors. Farmers are permitted to resell products from other farms to supplement product volumes outside of season.
Prepared Food Vendor or Food Reseller - a person or company who sells food prepared by the Vendor in a licensed kitchen space approved by Peel Region Health Department. Food Reseller is a person or company who sells food purchased from a third party, and/or farm products where less than 75% of the products are home grown. Resale of non-food products is not permitted at the Market. Resellers must offer a specialized product that is unique and improves the Market product mix or fills a product gap not represented by Farmers and Prepared Food Vendors.
Artist - The Ontario Arts Council defines a professional artist or arts professional as someone who has developed skills through training or practice, is recognized by artists working in the same artistic tradition, has a history of public presentation or publication, seeks payment for their work and actively practices on one or more of these fields of practice. In collaboration with the Brampton Arts Organization (BAO), the market is seeking artists, arts and culture organizations, or creative business vendors to participate. This work includes items like photo prints, editioned works, paintings, ceramics, stationary and more.
Artisan - an artisan is someone skilled in a craft or trade, creating functional or decorative objects by hand. Artisans typically focus on producing high-quality, handcrafted items with emphasis on technique and tradition. This includes beauty, bath, wellness, candles, jewellry etc.
Community/Non-profit Activations - Brampton based organization that operates for the purpose of charity, community or social benefit. community based or non-profit organizations are permitted to apply for a maximum of three market date activations. These activations are to help engage and educate market participants about a socially beneficial program or charity that supports the well-being of Brampton residents. Activations are not permitted to sell any items at the market.
