Automated Speed Enforcement

Speed Camera

Safe Streets in Brampton

The Ontario government has passed legislation banning Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) cameras across the province. As a result, Brampton’s ASE program has concluded, and cameras are no longer issuing tickets as of November 14, 2025.

The City remains committed to protecting residents and all road users and is exploring opportunities to repurpose existing ASE resources and apply technology in new ways to support road and community safety.

Brampton continues to advance safety through traffic calming measures, intersection camera enforcement, school zone safety initiatives, speed display boards and police enforcement.

Pay or Dispute Your Ticket

Tickets issued before November 14, 2025 remain valid and must be paid or disputed.
