The City of Brampton has recently completed a Schedule ‘B’ Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) for the extension of Denison Avenue from Park Street to Mill Street.

The study assessed the need for the road connectivity, traffic operations, cross-sectional elements, alternative road alignments, and the overall impact of such improvements on the social, cultural and natural environments.
Following consultations with stakeholders and the public, the Environmental Project Report recommends:
- Extension of Denison Avenue with two lanes
- Urban cross-section with curb and gutter on both sides
- On Road shared cycle lane and a 1.8m sidewalk on the north side
