Education Program
Brampton Animal Services provides educational presentations to schools and venues within the City of Brampton. If you’re looking for presentations on dog safety, pet ownership, or urban wildlife, our education team will be happy to work with you to find a presentation to meet your needs. For more information or to schedule a presentation,
contact us.
Shelter Tours
Shelter tours give children an opportunity to visit and learn about the Brampton Animal Shelter and the responsibilities that come with pet ownership. Everyone is given an opportunity to pet animals and ask questions.
Please contact the animal shelter for booking inquiries.
Community Outreach
We offer site visits across the City to schools, daycares, career fairs and community groups. Presentation topics vary widely depending upon the group demographic and interests. The educator may bring an animal with them, provided there are no children with allergies in the group (please make the educator aware before booking).
Community Events
The shelter participates in various community events around the city. Representatives are available to answer questions and educate the public about Brampton Animal Services through information booths, display boards, and handouts.
Resource Centre
Various pamphlets and handouts are available at the shelter, covering topics from animal behaviour to problems with wildlife. You may
contact us with your inquiries or visit us.
