Register for one of three upcoming grant information sessions taking place in August

BRAMPTON, ON— The City of Brampton is set to launch the 2025 Advance Brampton Fund (ABF) on September 2, 2024. By opening applications a month earlier this year, the City aims to streamline the process, allowing for earlier notifications and funding distribution to successful applicants in early 2025.

The grant is designed to support local non-profit organizations and registered charities in delivering programs and services that are essential to addressing the community's needs. The Advance Brampton Fund offers three funding streams:

  • ​New and Small Projects Stream: This stream offers support for innovative new projects and smaller initiatives, providing essential grants to nurture their growth with up to $5,000 in funding.
  • Developing Projects Stream: This stream supports projects that have demonstrated early success in Brampton. The Developing Project Stream provides matching project funds of up to $12,500 to help grow the project’s reach, audience engagement and overall impact. 
  • ​Amplifying Projects Stream: This stream supports organizations with well-developed projects and a proven track-record of a successful operation history in Brampton. Projects are required to demonstrate a significant positive impact across the city and sectoral collaboration, led by a highly-skilled and experienced team. This stream offers matching project funds of up to $25,000 to further elevate the project's reach, audience engagement and overall impact.

Continuing for the 2025 program year, matching funds are no longer required for the New and Small Projects Stream, making it more accessible for new and smaller organizations.

Since 2020, the Advance Brampton Fund has provided nearly $4.5 million in grant funding to Brampton's non-profit and charitable sector supporting more than 400 projects to help improve quality of life for Brampton residents. 

The deadline to apply to the 2025 Advance Brampton Fund is September 30, 2024, at 11:59 pm.
