The countdown to 2022 is on!

It’s time to leave another challenging year behind us, and look forward to the hope of a new year and opportunities ahead. We’re ringing in 2022 at the annual New Year’s Eve celebration in downtown Brampton, and here are the top five reasons you need to be there.

Outdoor Skating at Gage Park
Strap on those ice skates and glide through the ice trail at Gage Park. This outdoor skating location is one of Brampton’s best spots to enjoy the outdoors and it’s even more magical during the holidays. The park is adorned with thousands of lights, making it the perfect location to get your New Year’s Eve celebration started.

FREE Live in-person entertainment
Garden Square is the place to be when the main stage comes to life with live in-person entertainment all night long. Kicking the evening off is Brampton local Ameerah, one of the most versatile and dynamic artists to come out of the rapidly growing Toronto music scene. Always experimenting with new sounds and twists to the classic R&B/Hip-Hop formula, she has kept fans hooked in anticipation of what type of vibe she will drop next.

Up next, Toronto-based singer-songwriter Aysanabee, giving light to his Oji-Cree background with his soulful voice and soothing guitar.

Sam Roberts Band
The moment we’ve all been waiting for – a performance by the headliner and Juno Award-winning Canadian rock band, Sam Roberts Band who have been turning out hit after hit since 2002. They most recently released their seventh studio album, All Of Us, this past October. You don’t want to miss this performance and the chance to wrap up 2021 with energy and a little rock’n’roll!
