Heart Lake Conservation Area is home to scenic nature trails spanning over eight kilometers. The famous heart-shaped lake the conservation area is named after sits nestled between a dense forest exploding with spectacular fall foliage. There is so much to do, making it the perfect fall excursion for all ages. Activities include hiking trails, picnic areas, fishing, and ziplining.

Norton Place Park

Tucked in a residential neighbourhood, Norton Place Park is the perfect escape to catch the changing leaves and rejuvenate in nature. The small lake located within the park is a gem hidden behind apartment buildings and roads. Sit on the bench by the lake and see the many Canada Geese that come here to swim.
Peel Village Golf Course

There’s no better way to bid farewell to summer and welcome autumn than by getting the final swings of the year in at the Peel Village Golf Course. Located in the heart of Brampton, this golf course is constructed within a 67-acre flood plain surrounding the Etobicoke Creek. The dozens of trees on the property offer a breathtaking view.

Gage Park

Brampton's oldest municipal park is home to mature trees that gracefully change colours with the season. Although not as large as the others, Gage Park is perfect for a leisurely stroll after a visit to downtown Brampton. It includes a recently restored gazebo, upgraded children's play area, and floral gardens.
Etobicoke Creek Recreational Trail
If you’re looking for an adventure, this is it. This stunning recreational trail takes you down an autumn wonderland. Hike, bike, walk or run on more than 30 kilometers of guided and paved recreational trails. Travel between Brampton, Mississauga, and Caledon on the interregional connection, allowing you to experience the natural beauty of all areas.
