Join Brampton’s Mayor and Peel Regional Police Chief for an Auto Theft Telephone Town Hall

​​​BRAMPTON, ON – The City of Brampton invites the community to join a telephone town hall to participate in a discussion about auto theft in the City of Brampton. 

As a part of this discussion, Mayor Patrick Brown and members of Council and Peel Regional Police (PRP) Chief Nishan Duraiappah and Deputy Chiefs will update the community on the steps they are taking together to keep residents safe from auto theft. Information about signing up to receive a free Signal Blocking Pouch (SBP), generously sponsored by Performance Auto Group, will also be provided during the telephone town hall. 

Telephone town hall attendees will be hosted by Mayor Patrick Brown, Chief Nishan Duraiappah and include: 

  • Rowena Santos, Regional Councillor, Wards 1 & 5; Chair, Community Services, City of Brampton
  • Michael Palleschi, Regional Councillor, Wards 2 & 6; Chair, Brampton Community Safety Advisory Committee, City of Brampton 
  • Deputy Chief Nick Milinovich, Investigative and Emergency Services Command, Peel Regional Police 
  • Deputy Chief Marc Andrews, Community Policing Operations Command, Peel Regional Police

7:30 pm - 9:00 pm 

To register to receive a call to participate in the telephone town hall, visit Let's Connect Brampton. Registration closes May 7 at 12:00 pm.

Residents can also participate by dialing in or joining online​ at 7:30 pm. The link for the telephone town hall will open at 7:25 pm.
